I was born in India, but made in Ohio. Dublin is my home.
America is a place of freedom and opportunity for all. This truth led my father to leave the Indian Navy, move our family across the world, and live the American dream.
When I was 5-years-old my father left his post in the Indian Navy and moved our family to America. He believed in America’s promise of freedom and opportunity, and that ‘you get what you have the courage to seek.’
He arrived in America with $30 in his pocket. I watched him work three jobs for seven years with only a few hours of sleep in between each shift. My father’s dedication kept food on the table and proved that no sacrifice is too big to provide for the people you love.
My father’s attitude instilled a spirit of selflessness and duty that drove me to join the US Attorney’s Office on counter-terrorism and criminal asset forfeiture cases following the events of September 11, 2001 after graduating from The Ohio State University.
It was my privilege to serve as legal counsel for the Ohio Governor, the Ohio Department of Agriculture, and now own my own private practice advising small businesses. With a depth of experience in both the public and private sectors I’m ready to create unique solutions, challenge the status quo and help people hold their government accountable.
I will fight to preserve the American dream, protect our communities, and always fight for those that are less fortunate.
